Our Tool and Fleet Manager will play an important role in the daily operation of our Company. The Tool and Fleet Manager will perform many organizational and management tasks to monitor, maintain, and improve our company’s tools and fleet processes.
Responsibilities:
- Purchasing tools and vehicles to expand and/or enhance our inventory and fleet
- Scheduling regular maintenance on all vehicles
- Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed on all vehicles
- Ordering tools as needed to keep inventory stocked
- Coordinating drivers with appropriate vehicles
- Managing vehicle registration
- Ensuring the fleet is up-to-date with insurance and registration documents
- Providing reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance, and fleet progress
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and general computer knowledge
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail in a changing environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent dispatch experience a plus
- Three (3) years or more of progressively responsible experience in fleet management
- Maintenance, repair, and overhaul of heavy-duty automotive and truck equipment (preferred)
- Knowledge of OSHA and DOT (UCR) regulations
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Mandatory Pre-employment drug testing
